1916 Obituary [1]

JOHN WILLIAM DAVIES died on August 8, 1916, at the age of fifty. In 1905, on the death of his father, he became senior partner of the Redheugh Iron and Steel Company and of the Redheugh Firebrick Company, Gateshead-on-Tyne, and director of the Dunston Garesfield Collieries, Limited, Newcastle-on-Tyne.

He was a member of the Northumberland Yacht Club, and joined the Iron and Steel Institute in 1910.
