JOHN WILLIAM DARLING, chairman of Messrs. Darling and Sellers, machine-tool manufacturers of Keighley, entered the business founded by his father, Mr. William Darling, and Mr. Robert Sellers, on completing his education. His whole career was associated with the firm, and he was chiefly occupied on the secretarial and commercial side of the business.
He died on 20th July 1929, at the age of 73, and he had been a Member of the Institution since 1902.
