JOHN WALTER HENRY HAWES after receiving his general education at Blackheath College, studied at the Polytechnic, Regent Street, and then served his apprenticeship with the [[Windsor Electric Installation Co|Windsor Electric Installation Company]], from 1896 to 1899. JOHN WALTER HENRY HAWES after receiving his general education at Blackheath College, studied at the Polytechnic, Regent Street, and then served his apprenticeship with the Windsor Electric Installation Company, from 1896 to 1899.
