1864 Born in Birmingham son of Joseph Tangye and his wife Jane[1]

1891 Engineer, boarder in Ladywood, Birmingham[2]

c.1900 Working in Manchester.

1912 Consulting engineer, of Corporation St, Birmingham[3]

1918 Mechanical engineer, died in Birmingham; one of his executors was Albert William Tangye, chemical engineer[4]
