1849 Partnership dissolved. '...the Partnership subsisting between us the undersigned, John Stewert and Thomas Beveridge, carrying on business in Preston, in the county of Lancaster, as Millwrights, Engineers and Boiler Makers, was this day dissolved by mutual consent. All debts due from or to our late firm, will be paid and received by the undersigned, John Stewert, by whom our said business will in future be carried on...'[1]
