1891 Living at Dowsby, Lincs.: John R. Holmes (age 36 born Billinghay, Lincs.), Schoolmaster. With his wife Emily Holmes (age 36 born Millthorpe) and their three children; Bernard C. Holmes (age 14 born Millthorpe); Edith R. Holmes (age 17 born Millthorpe); and Cyril W. Holmes (age 14 born Dowsby).[1]
