The death is announced of Mr. J.P. Lacy, of Birmingham, who was for some years chairman of the Galvanised Sheet Maker's Association and one of the best known men on Birmingham Exchange. Mr. Lacy's death took place on Wednesday, the cause being heart failure following an illness. He was a director of Kynochs, Limited, of Birmingham, and of the Metropolitan Amalgamated Railway Carriage and Wagon Company. Prior to the amalgamation of the Patent Shaft and Axletree Company, Wednesbury, with the Metropolitan Company, Mr. Lacy had for many years held the chairman. ship of that concern.
