John McCullum (c1850-1912), general manager of the Appleby Iron Co


1912 Obituary [1]

John McCullum died at Santon Cottage, Scunthorpe, on March 26, 1912, at the age of sixty-two.

For upwards of thirty years he was the general manager of the Appleby Iron Company Limited, of Scunthorpe. He had taken a prominent part in the development of the Lincolnshire iron industry, and was a member of the Lincolnshire Iron Masters' Association.

He was elected a member of the Iron and Steel Institute in 1890.
