1935 Obituary [1]

JOHN KITCHING, a very old member of the Institute, died at Darlington on March 28, 1935, at the advanced age of eighty-one.

For the greater part of his career he had been associated with the working of railways in Great Britain and in Spain.

He joined the Iron and Steel Institute in 1881, and at his death was a life member.
