Premier Concessions, Mozambique, 1893; reported on Mineral Resources of Zululand, 1894; in charge of Mines Dept., Zululand, 1894-98; Chairman, Commission to Revise Min. Laws and Regulations of Natal and Zululand, 1898; in practice in Natal as Cons. Engr. for various collieries and reporting on mines throughout S. Af., 1898-1907; Cons.
