JOHN HOWARD COLLS, born on the 30th August, 1846, died at Buenos Aires on the 29th December, 1910.

Mr. Colls was joint Chairman and Managing Director of George Trollope and Sons and Colls and Sons, of which latter firm his father was the founder.

He had considerable experience as a builder and contractor, and was a member and oftice-bearer of the Institute of Builders, the London Master Builders’ Association and other bodies.

He was elected an Associate of The Institution on the 10th January, 1905.
