John Hopkinson (c1797-1864) of Hopkinson and Cope

1851 Living at Upper Tulse Hill, Lambeth: John Hopkinson (age 54 born Leeds), Mechanical Engineer employing 50 men. With his wife Emma Hopkinson (age 43 born Camberwell). Also his sister-in-law Mary C. Auline (age 58 born Camberwell). Two servants.[1]

1861 Living at Upper Tulse Hill, Lambeth: John Hopkinson (age 64 born Leeds), Mechanical Engineer. With his wife Emma Hopkinson (age 53 born Camberwell). Also wife's sister Mary Christian Havelin (age 68 born Camberwell). Two servants.[2]

1864 October 16th. Died age 67. Buried in Norwood Cemetery. Of 8 Upper Tulse Hill, Surrey.
