Was an outdoor manager in one of the Manchester millwrights where Charles Randolph had worked

1839 became a partner with Charles Randolph; the firm became Randolph, Elliot and Co.

1842 Elliot died.


NB A John Elliot had worked with William Fairbairn in Manchester but not clear whether was the same person
