John Cockburn Francis Lee (c1834-1910), Civil Engineer. aka J. C. Frank Lee and J. C. F. Lee

1834 November 16th. Born at Ravenshead, Sutton, St. Helens, the son of John Lee, plate glass manufacturer, and his wife Mary

1861 Living at Adelaide Road, Hampstead: J. C. F. Lee (age 26 born St. Helens), Engineer. With his wife Louisa Mary Lee (age 24 born Westminster) and their son Fredk Lovell Lee (age 10 months born Hampstead). Three servants.[1]

1862 J. C. Frank Lee, Engineer, 30 Parliament Street, London.[3]

1869 Birth of twin daughters to J. C. F. Lee of 2 Victoria Road, South Hampstead.[4]

1871 Living at 2 Fairford Road, Hampstead: John C. F. Lee (age 36 born St. Helens), Civil Engineer and Widower. With his children: George Lee (age 8 born Hampstead); Gary C. Lee (age 6 born Hampstead); Charles W. Lee (age 5 born Hampstead); Harry M. Lee (age 4 born Hampstead); Louisa M. Lee (age 2 born Hampstead); and Mary B. Lee (age 2 born Hampstead). Six servants.[5]

1881 Living at Ravenhead, Beckenham: J. C. F. Lee (age 47 born Lancashire), Retired Civil Engineer. With his wife Maryan E. Lee (age 27 born Rochester) and their children; Frank L. Lee (age 20 born Hampstead), Architect; Louisa M. Lee (age 12 born Hampstead); and Mary B. Lee (age 12 born Hampstead). Eight servants.[6]

1882 Director of the Electric Lighting Contract and Maintenance Co - J. C. F. Lee, M.I.M.E., A.I.C.E., Ravenhead, Beckenham.[7]

1887 English engineer and financier John Cockburn Francis Lee founded the Lake Copais Company with a capital of £1Mio. The aim of this company was the drainage and cultivation of the Lake Copais Sea in Boeotia, Greece.

1891 Living at 9 Park Crescent, Marylebone: J. C. F. Lee (age 57 born Liverpool), Civil Engineer. With his wife Marion E. Lee (age 35 born Cheshunt) and their children; F. L. Lee (age 30 born London), Architect; M. B. Lee (age 32 born Hampstead); L. M. Lee (age 22 born Hampstead); M. V. Lee (age 8 born London); and A. M. Lee (age 1 born Brighton). Nine servants.[8]

1910 October 21st. Died.[9]
