1845 Advert: 'CAMBRIDGE'S LATEST PORTABLE STEAM ENGINE.
JOHN CARTWRIGHT BEGS most respectfully to inform his Agricultural friends, that the above complete and simple Steam Engine may be seen at work at his Manufactory, from 12 to 2 o’clock, on Saturday next, where may likewise be seen several valuable Implements left with him for sale, which were not disposed of at the Show, and which may be bought great bargain.

1847 Advert: 'TO IRONFOUNDERS, &c. TO LET,
And entered upon immediately,
The old-established premises called the EAGLE FOUNDRY, situate in Roushill,in the town of Shresbury and late in the occupation of Mr. John Carwright, where there has been an extensive trade carried on for a number of years. The above premises are roomy, and may be worked to a great advantage, a foundry being badly wanted in Shrewsbury, the above offers an opportunity seldom to be met with : there is an excellent nine-horse-power steam engine on the premises, with some other machinery.
