John Anderson B.Sc., A.R.C.S. Technical Manager, India Tyre and Rubber Co., Ltd.

1905 Born in Greenock.

Educ: Deacon's School, Peterborough, and Imperial College, London.

From 1927, held various positions in the technical organization of the Dunlop Rubber Co., Ltd.

1934 Became responsible for the specification and control of all textile materials in tyres made by the Dunlop Group

Became head of textile research when the new Dunlop Research Centre was opened.

1954 Joined India Tyre and Rubber Co. Ltd., Inchinnan, Renfrewshire.
