1892 Partnership change. '...the Partnership theretofore subsisting between us the undersigned, James Stiff, William Stiff, and Ebenezer Stiff, carrying on business as Potters, at the London Pottery, High-street, Lambeth, in the county of London (then Surrey), under the style or firm of James Stiff and Sons, was dissolved, by mutual consent, as and from the said 31st day of March, 1876. All debts due to and owing by the said late firm have been and henceforth will be received and paid by the said William Stiff and Ebenezer Stiff...'[3]
1903 Partnership change. '...the Partnership hereto fore subsisting between us the undersigned, Ebenezer Stiff, Sydney James Stiff, James Arthur Stiff, and William Frederick Stiff, carrying on business as Stoneware and Terra-cotta Manufacturers, at the London Pottery, Lambeth, S.B., under the style or firm of "JAMES STIFF AND SONS," has been as from the 1st day of April, 1903, dissolved by mutual consent so far as regards the said Ebenezer Stiff, who retires from the firm. All debts due to and owing by the said late firm will be received and paid by the said Sydney James Stiff, James Arthur Stiff, and William Frederick Stiff, who will continue to carry on the said business under the same style or firm as heretofore...'[4]
