1860 Born in St Pancras, London, son of John James Napier, portrait painter.[1]

1881 Engineering student in Glasgow[2]

1895 An engineer, sailed from Liverpool to New York[3]

1912 November. Technical article in Internal Combustion Engineering on the Atkinson cycle

1919 Registered elector in Camden, London[4]

1932 May 12th. Died, of 50 Grove Lane, Camberwell. Probate to John James Napier, engineer and two others.
