James Hodgson (d.1904)


1904 Obituary [1]

JAMES HODGSON, of Britton Place, Ulverston, died in July 1904. He was at one time President of the Barrow Chamber of Commerce, and was a Justice of the Peace and a director of the North Lonsdale Iron and Steel Company. For over thirty years he acted as colliery agent to the Wigan Coal and Iron Company.

He was elected a member of the Iron and Steel Institute in 1893, and was a member of the Reception Committee on the occasion of the Barrow meeting in 1903.
