c1888 Born in Oldham, son of James Hall (1853-1908)

1910 A fire engineer, when he married Nellie Austerberry in Oldham; his father, James, also a fire engineer, was deceased[1]

1911 James Hall 23, fire escape engineer, employer, lived in Oldham with Nellie Hall 24, and his sister Alice Hall 19[2]
