"JAMES EDWIN WYNESS, whose death occurred at Cape Town on 1st October 1950 at the early age of forty, was elected an Associate Member of the Institution in 1941. He was educated at the Diocesan College, Dublin, the Coatbridge Technical College, and the Royal Technical College, Glasgow. His apprenticeship was served between 1923 and 1930 with [[P.
