James Edwin Foden (1901-1993) of Fodens

1901 Born in Sandbach, Cheshire, son of William Foden

1917 Joined the family concern Fodens as an apprentice

Joined Transport Company in England, operating early steam vehicles

1924 Went to Australia with his family where he worked for 5 years in transport and wool growing.

Became London representative and Sales Director of Fodens

1951 Joint Managing Director, Fodens, Ltd.

Member of Exhibition Committee of S.M.M.T.

1993 Died in Crewe[1]
