James Augustus Tawell of Hunt and Tawell

1854. '... the Copartnership carried on by us, at Earl's Colne, in the county of Essex, as Linen and Woollen Drapers, Tailors, Mercers, and Haberdashers, was dissolved, as to the undersigned, William Tawell, by mutual consent...signed: William Tawell, Frederick Tawell, James Augustus Tawell.'[1]

1872 Tawell joined Reuben Hunt in running his business at Atlas Works, Earl's Colne

1886 Tawell left; the business became R. Hunt and Co .
