1893 Built by Jacob Sassoon with his brother Edward and Meyer, the sons of Elias David Sassoon, the builder of the E. D. Sassoon Mill. Contains 90,000 spindles and 1,000 looms. Building designed by Gostling and Morris of Bombay. Engines by Hick, Hargreaves and Co. Machinery from Platt Brothers and Co, Brooks and Doxey and William Tatham and Co. Erection by Wilson, Broadbent, Davies and Borthwick.
