1842 Company established by Mr. John Robinson and Sir Thomas Robinson in Gloucester under the style of Messrs. J. and T. Robinson, for the sale of feeding stuffs, guano and nitrate.[1]

1860 Started manufacturing chemical manures in Bristol; products included: bone corn manure, bone dust, Peruvian guano, and nitrate of soda, Robinson's Turnip and Mangold Manure and Robinson's Super-Phosphate of Lime.[2]:

1874 Partnership dissolved, when Mr. John Robinson started business in Bristol under the name of John Robinson and Company.[3]
