John and Henry Sorby, of Spital Hill, Sheffield, edge tool manufacturers.

Henry Sorby, of Woodbourne, Attercliffe was a member of the firm.

1832 Dissolution of the Partnership between John Sorby, Henry Sorby, and Alfred Sorby, as Merchants and Manufacturers of Edge-Tools, at Spital-Hill, in the Parish of Sheffield, in the County of York, under the firm of John Sorby and Sons, as concerned Henry Sorby, dissolved by mutual consent as from the 14th day of May 1832; the businesses was carried on by John Sorby and Alfred Sorby.[1]
