1908 Founded by John Noel Nichols as a wholesale druggist and herbalist business in Granby Row, Central Manchester. One of his first products was a herbal tonic which he named Vimtonic later shortened to Vimto.
1910 The company moved to larger premises in Chapel Street, Salford.
1912 Vimto registered as a trademark.
1927 Company moves to new premises at 67 Ayres Road, Old Trafford, Manchester.
1929 Incorporated as a Limited Company.
1971 Company relocates to Wythenshawe.
1980 Acquired Solent Canners.
1999 All bottling and canning operations consolidated into a new state of the art factory at Haydock.
