Joseph Eléonore Vautrin of Paris

An 1861 hand-operated shaping machine is on display at the Musée des Arts et Métiers in Paris.

1861 French patent No. 1178 to Joseph-Eléonore Vautrin of 233 Rue du Faubourg-Saint-Martin for a type of planing machine (machine a raboter). Also patent No. 1265 to François Pradier and Joseph-Eléonore Vautrin of 235 Rue du Faubourg-Saint-Martin for boiler feed pump valves[1]
