c.1843 Birth of son Frederick Higginbottom

1851 Living at Islington, Mddx, age 40 born New Mills, Derbyshire, a Paper Stainer by Machine. With his wife and five children.[1]

1871 Living at Withington, Lancs, age 61 born New Mills, Derbyshire, a Paper Stainer. With his wife five children and two servants.[2]

1875 July 29th. Died at Bright Villa, Manchester. Probate to his son Frederick.
