Indus Valley State Railway
One of the Indian State Railways, running from the terminus of the Punjab Railway at Mooltan to the northern end of the Sind Railway at Kotri.
1865 The Secretary of State for India decided that the Indus Valley railway should be constructed under the Department of Public Works; the existing staff of the Scinde and Indus Valley railways were given notice.[1]
By the end of 1878 501 miles were open.
1885 652 miles in operation
