Early 1960s, Odhams Press was acquired by the Mirror Group Newspapers, along with the George Newnes Co and Amalgamated Press; the three companies were merged to form International Publishing Corporation (IPC) which was incorporated as a private company in 1962.

1963 Rank sold its holding in British Relay Wireless and Television, which it had acquired with Murphy, to International Publishing Corporation[1].

1970 Acquired by Reed Group. IPC already had a substantial holding in Reed shares. Reed supplied nearly half of IPC's newsprint[2]. The combined company changed its name to Reed International[3]

1974 Renamed Reed Publishing Holdings Ltd

1982 The company was re-registered as a private company

1986 Renamed RPH Ltd.
