1870 Thomas Humber started making complete bicycles, in Nottingham

1875 Humber formed a partnership with Thomas Rushforth Marriott, to produce bicycles

1875 Moved the business to Queen's Road, Nottingham.

1877 Fred Cooper joined the partnership and it became Humber, Marriott and Cooper
