1898 The company was registered on 30 March, to acquire a business of decorated tin box manufacturers, colour printers and lithographers. [1]

1898 Incorporated as a private limited company.

1914 Lithographers and decorated sheet metal box manufacturers. Specialities: chromo, lithographing, printing on tin plates, decorated sheet metal boxes, show cards and metal tablets. Employees 1,150. [2]

1921 A controlling interest was acquired by Metal Box Co
