We regret to record the death, in Birmingham, on March 26th, of Mr. Horace Shankland, who until his retirement two years ago was a local director of Dunlop, Ltd.

Mr. Shankland, who was sixty-nine, had been engaged in the tyre industry for fifty-two years. He was president of the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders in 1941.
