1810 The business which became Isaac Hollis and Sons was established.

1840 Bentley and Playfair founded.

1911 These two companies amalgamated to form Hollis, Bentley and Playfair.

1914 Gun and rifle makers. Specialities: high-class sporting guns and rifles for home and export. Employees 200 to 300. [1]
