'DEATH OF MR WM. HIRST.— A well-known townsman passed away on Tuesday in the person of Mr. [[William Hirst]] of Heath Park-avenne, Halifax, aged 73. In his younger days Mr. Hirst was for many years a foreman for Messrs. Earnshaw, engineers, Crown Works, Booth Town, and later became a partner in the firm of Messrs.
