  • Henry Wilkes made hooks and needles with the company name of 'Henry Wilkes and Co. He also had an office in Toronto.
  • William A. Wilkes had a business called the Wilkes-Westwood Co, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, starting in 1898 (with Charles H. Westwood). The company dissolved but was re-formed into the 'C. H. Westwood and Co', with William as president.
  • It dissolved in 1910. William A. Wilkes was the brother of Henry Wilkes. Both William and Henry used the Osprey trademark, of an Osprey head with a fish in it's beak.
