1832 Born, the third son of Robert Hyde Greg and his wife Mary, of Wilmslow[1]

1856 Became a partner in the family business R. H. Greg and Co

1864 Chaired a meeting of the Manchester Boiler Association's committee.

1875 On Robert Hyde Greg's death, H. R. Greg took control of the business, in partnership with Charles Sharpe Parker.

1894 Died at Styal
