1879 Henry Davey and Charles Davey withdrew from the partnership of Davey, Paxman and Co and retired.[3]
1881 Retired engineer, living in Chelsea, London with his wife Elizabeth Davey 50, daughter Elizabeth 21, sons Horace 13, Herbert 13, Frank 12, Edgar 11, and Bertie 8[4]
