HENRY JOHN INWOOD BILTON, born on the 21st March, 1862, at Christchurch, N.Z., died at Brighton Beach, Victoria, on the 23rd March, 1910.
After serving his pupilage with Messrs. John Anderson and Sons, of Christchurch, he went to Victoria, where in 1886, he entered the service of the Victorian Railways, in which he was employed as an Assistant Engineer, specializing in hydraulic work, until his death.
He was elected an Associate Member of The Institution on the 1st March, 1892.
