1921 Obituary[1]

"Cooke.—On November 16, at his residence at Berkswell (Warwickshire), Mr. Henry Cooke, aged fifty-eight. A keen man of business, Mr. Cooke was employed more, than twenty years ago by the firm of Frank Shaw & Co. (Lim.), export merchants, of Newhall Street, Birmingham, and some ten years later became a partner, remaining actively associated with the business up to the time of his death. Prior to the war a resident of Sutton Coldfield, he was responsible for a good deal of valuable political work in that district on behalf of the Liberal Party.
