Born 1847 at Bolton the son of Henry Arundel, a school teacher, and Emma Birkby his wife.

1877 Joined with John Oliver to form Oliver and Arundel

1891 Living at Broughton Lodge, Broom Lane, Broughton, Salford and shown as 43 years old and a textile machine maker and employer. Hubert his son age 21 is shown as a foreman textile maker

The company moved to Sovereign Works, Stockport

1905 Died aged 58
