1785 The Heidsiecks Champagne House in Reims, France, was set up by Florens-Louis Heidsiecks.

1828 Florens-Louis died and his nephews took over the business, the eldest nephew being Henri-Louis Heidsieck, who took control of the business.

1860 The new company, in partnership with Henri-Louis and his cousin Henri Piper, became Piper Heidsieck, when they registered a French trademark, Monopole.

1923 The company name became Champagne Heidsieck and Co. Monopole, founded in 1785.

1996 The company was acquired by the Vranken Champagne Group.
