1884 Court order of sale, in the matter of Emmerson, Murgatroyd and Co Limited, of "certain valuable freehold engineering and boiler works, known as Heaton Foundry, situate at Heaton Norris, hitherto carried on by the said Company, together with the fixed steam engine, two steam boilers, main shafting (forming the motive power), and the gas and water pipes as fixed."[1]

1947 A. Reyrolle and Co acquired an interest in the company.

1957 Company removed from the register[2]
