Havana Cigars. Habana

1844 Herman Upmann, a German banker, relocated to Havana and established as a banker and purchased a cigar factory.

1922 Business bankrupt and purchased by J. Frankau and Co (later Hunters and Frankau]] – the UK's sole Cuban Importer).

1935 The brand was in Cuban hands when it was purchased by Menéndez Y Garcia, the then owners of Montecristo.

Owned by Imperial Brands

Still in operation.
