1926 He resigned his position as chief chemist to the North Eastern Marine Engineering Co, Wallsend-on-Tyne and Sunderland, and he opened an office at 3, Central-buildings, Westminster, London, S.W.I. where he practised as a consulting metallurgist and works chemist.[1]
