1913 Acquired Raven Tinplate Co
1919 Acquired Bryngwyn Steel and Tinplate Co, of W. Lewis and Co, and Cambrian Tinplate Works, Gorseinon - the "most important Welsh tinplate deal of recent years"[2]
1920 On behalf of the company, Mr Folland negotiated the purchase of Glasbrook Brothers' Colliery near Swansea[3]

1922 Incorporated as a private company to take over existing businesses of tinplate and steel sheet manufacturers previously private partnerships - plant included Grovesend Steel Works, Grovesend Tinplate Works, Amman tinplate works, Cambria tinplate works, Gorseinon tinplate works, Hendy tinplate works, Raven Sheet and Galvanising Works, Bryngwyn Steel and Galvanising Works, Bryngwyn Steel Works; also had interests in other companies including Whitford Steel Sheet and Galvanizing Co.[4]
1922 Incorporated as a public company[5]
1923 August - Acquired the Duffryn Steel and Tin Plate Works, Morriston, Swansea.
1923 Acquired the Dynever Tinplate Works, near Swansea
1923 A private company. Working arrangement agreed with Richard Thomas and Co[6] which led to purchase of a controlling interest[7]
1925 Patent - Improvements in conveyors for metal or other sheets or other flat articles.
By 1933 also owned Mardy Tinplate Works, Gorseinon; Dyffryn Tinplate Works, Morriston; Dynevor Blackplate Works, Pantyffynnon; Whitford Sheet Works, Briton Ferry; Wellfield Sheet Works, Llanelly[8]
1936 Patent - Improvements in or relating to containers for tin plates or the like.
1937 British Industries Fair Advert for Welsh Tinplate Works. Tinplates, Blackplates, Terneplates**, Galvanising and Sheet Mills. (Engineering/Metals/Quarry, Roads and Mining/Transport Section - Stand No. D.328).[9]
1946 Formal merger with Richard Thomas and Baldwins and liquidation of the Grovesend company[10]
