of Greengate, Salford.

  • Location: The 1915/1922 O.S. Map[1] shows the mill to be quite large, and comparison with the 1849 map shows that it had expanded 'inland' from the River Irwell, the older eastern wall following the curvature of the river. The river frontage was approx. 700 ft long.
