of Fish Dock, Great Grimsby

By 1889 several fishing boat owners were well established under the title of Great Grimsby Co-op. Box and Fish Carrying Co; they were classified as 'Coal Merchants, mast and block makers, and tinplate workers'

1893 They had become the Great Central Co-operative Engineering and Ship Repairing Co

After 1893 they turned out a number of marine engines and steam winches
