1924 The Anglo-Persian Oil Co opened its refinery at Grangemouth, Scotland.[1].

1949 Expansion of the Refinery

1954 Increasing demand for multigrade oil led BP to move the Energol lubricating oil business to the refinery at Grangemouth and re-brand it as their own product.
